Purpose and List of the Vandever Trails Board of Directors

Policy Statement

The function of the Association, the Board and its officers, and committee members is to reasonably maintain and improve the property values and the quality of life in the neighborhood through Association approved programs. Below is a better definition of what the Association is and is not responsible for:

The Association will handle...

  1. Covenant violations
  2. ARC Guideline violations
  3. Association By Laws
  4. Neighborhood Watch
  5. Park Improvements
  6. Billing of Association Dues and Collections

We would encourage each person to attempt a "good neighbor" policy before addressing issues with the Board. Most people are reasonable and are willing to make concessions if approached in an open manner.

The Association will NOT handle...

  1. Illegal activity issues - call local law enforcement
  2. Private disputes over fences, children, or animals. These are functions of local government and law enforcement.
  3. City ordinance violations

Beautification and Maintenance Committee, which includes:

  1. Identifying and proposing beautification projects
  2. Managing the landscaping around the common areas (pond and playground)
  3. Pond pump, sprinkler system, and light repair
  4. Required to report back to the Board monthly
